TECHNOLOGY AT A GLANCE

Explore the capabilities

50G to 400G in one switch

Eight 50G SFP56 ports, two 200G QSFP56 ports, and two 400G QSFP56-DD ports support servers, storage, aggregation, and high-bandwidth uplinks.

Built for mixed-speed networks

Broad speed support and compatible breakout options help connect existing 1G through 50G infrastructure alongside newer 200G and 400G equipment.

RouterOS v7 control

A quad-core 2GHz ARM processor, 4GB of DDR4 memory, and a Marvell switch chip support switching, routing, traffic control, and network management.

Redundant, serviceable hardware

Dual hot-swap power supplies and four hot-swap fans support resilient operation and simplify maintenance in rack deployments.

The backbone of your AI cluster

Bring compute, storage, and high-speed uplinks together with the MikroTik CRS812 DDQ. A versatile mix of port speeds and breakout options lets you connect existing equipment while building the bandwidth your next AI project needs.

50G to 400G connectivity in one switch

The CRS812 DDQ combines high-speed server connectivity, aggregation capacity, and 400G uplinks in a compact 1U platform for growing AI and storage environments.

  • 400G backbone links: Two QSFP56-DD ports support up to 400Gbps per port for high-bandwidth uplinks and spine connectivity between compatible switches or AI systems.
  • 200G aggregation: Two QSFP56 ports provide 200Gbps connectivity for aggregation layers, storage infrastructure, and compatible compute equipment.
  • Eight 50G server connections: Eight SFP56 ports connect high-performance servers, storage, and compute nodes at up to 50Gbps each.
  • Flexible management and migration: Two 1G/10G Ethernet ports support management or existing network connections, while compatible cables and modules allow lower-speed and breakout deployments where needed.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

Built into the system

High-Density 50G, 200G, and 400G Connectivity

The CRS812 DDQ brings multiple high-speed interface types into one 1U switch. Eight 50G SFP56 ports support server and storage connectivity, two QSFP56 ports provide up to 200Gbps, and two QSFP56-DD ports support up to 400Gbps for high-bandwidth aggregation or uplink connections. Two multigigabit Ethernet ports provide additional network connectivity.

Flexible Speeds for New and Existing Infrastructure

The CRS812 supports a broad range of interface speeds to help integrate mixed-generation equipment. Ethernet ports support 1G, 2.5G, 5G, and 10G, while SFP56 interfaces support speeds up to 50G. QSFP56 ports support up to 200G, and QSFP56-DD ports support up to 400G. Compatible breakout cables and modules can provide 1G through 50G breakout configurations where needed.

Marvell Switching with ARM Processing

A Marvell 98DX7335 switch chip provides the switching foundation for the CRS812 DDQ. A quad-core 2GHz ARM 64-bit AL52400 processor, 4GB of DDR4 memory, and 512MB of NAND storage support RouterOS operation, network configuration, monitoring, and advanced traffic-management tasks.

RouterOS v7 with License Level 6

RouterOS v7 provides switching, routing, security, traffic control, and monitoring capabilities from a single operating system. License Level 6 gives administrators the flexibility to configure the switch for a range of high-speed network and infrastructure deployments.

Redundant Power and Hot-Swap Cooling

Dual redundant hot-swap power supplies help keep the switch operating when a power supply requires replacement or one AC input is unavailable. Four hot-swap fans support cooling in active rack environments. The CRS812 operates from -10°C to +50°C and has a maximum power consumption of 134W with attachments.

1U Rackmount Design

The CRS812 DDQ is built for standard rack installation in a 1U form factor. Its 443 × 268 × 44mm chassis provides dense high-speed connectivity while fitting into conventional network and data-center rack layouts.
