TECHNOLOGY AT A GLANCE

Explore the capabilities

400G connectivity

Four QSFP56-DD ports support high-bandwidth connections between compute systems, storage, and network infrastructure.

Flexible port speeds

Support for lower-speed connections and breakout configurations helps integrate existing equipment using compatible cables and modules.

Wire-speed switching

A Marvell 98DX7335 switch chip delivers hardware switching performance across all ports.

Redundant power and cooling

Dual hot-swap power supplies and two hot-swap fans simplify maintenance and support reliable operation.

Build the backbone of your AI network

Connect compute systems and storage with the MikroTik CRS804 DDQ. Four 400G QSFP-DD ports deliver high-speed switching, while flexible breakout options support a mix of connection speeds. Its compact 1U design brings powerful networking to AI labs, smaller clusters, and growing infrastructure.

400G Connectivity for AI Infrastructure

The CRS804 DDQ brings high-density 400G switching to compact AI, storage, and aggregation deployments, while preserving the flexibility to connect compatible lower-speed equipment.

  • Four 400G QSFP56-DD ports: Connect AI compute, storage, or network infrastructure at up to 400Gbps per port for high-bandwidth aggregation and cluster interconnects.
  • Flexible breakout connectivity: QSFP56-DD interfaces support 40G, 50G, 100G, 200G, and 400G operation, with breakout options down to 1G through 50G when used with compatible cables or modules.
  • Two multigigabit Ethernet ports: Built-in Ethernet connections support 1G, 2.5G, 5G, and 10G speeds for management or integration with existing network infrastructure.
  • Compact rack deployment: The half-depth 1U design provides dense 400G connectivity without requiring a full-depth switch chassis.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

Built into the system

Four 400G QSFP56-DD Ports

The CRS804 DDQ provides four QSFP56-DD ports with speeds up to 400Gbps per port. It is designed for high-bandwidth connections between AI compute systems, storage infrastructure, and aggregation layers where a compact 400G switch is needed.

Flexible Breakout Connectivity

Each QSFP56-DD interface supports 40G, 50G, 100G, 200G, and 400G operation, with breakout support for 1G, 2.5G, 5G, 10G, 25G, and 50G connections when used with compatible cables or modules. Two additional Ethernet ports support 1G through 10G management or network connectivity.

Wire-Speed Switching Hardware

A Marvell 98DX7335 switch chip provides switching performance across the CRS804 DDQ’s high-speed interfaces. The system also includes a quad-core 2GHz ARM 64-bit AL52400 processor, 4GB of DDR4 memory, and 512MB of NAND storage for RouterOS operation and network management.

RouterOS v7 with License Level 6

RouterOS v7 gives administrators access to advanced switching, routing, traffic control, monitoring, and security features. License Level 6 supports a flexible deployment for organizations building and managing high-speed infrastructure.

Redundant Power and Hot-Swap Cooling

Dual redundant hot-swap power supplies help maintain operation if a power supply needs replacement or one input is unavailable. Two hot-swap fans support cooling during operation, with a specified operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C. Maximum power consumption is 123W with attachments.

Compact 1U Rack Deployment

The CRS804 DDQ fits in a compact 1U rackmount form factor for dense infrastructure deployments. The included RMK-2x10/19 accessory can mount two compatible units side by side in one 1U space of a standard 19-inch rack.
